STEP 2: Click on the “CREATE” button. Then a window named CREATE_MACRO will appear.
STEP 3: Add a new column named MERG_NUM in the table that we want to create macros for.
STEP 4: Add a number value in the MERG_NUM column.
STEP 5: Create the sql script in the macro and click on “execute” button.
STEP 6: Select the table to which MERG_NUM will be executed.
STEP 7: Click on “EXECUTE” button.
STEP 8: Your macro will be created and you will be directed to the window of macro definition.

Here is another possible solution that is the alternate of your requirement. In that
1) In a view
2) A view being the alias for a query or a set of SQL statements.
3) All the columns of the select statement of the view are selected for each row of the base table.
4) All the columns of the base table are selected for each row of the view.
The views themselves are not stored in the database and are stored in memory only.
So your below query would work only on the base table.
All the rows of the base table will be in the view. The first row will be outside the view and the rows after that will be in the view.
Try this.

Ensure you have the db_owner role for your database. Create a view that returns the same data as the base table. Select from that view as a data source.
