Q: How to find out the drive letter to be used by a drive letter?
A: Use a Windows utility called “subst” which uses the same API.
Q: What about drives mounted at boot time?
A: Using Virtual Subst you can specify to have the drives automatically mounted at boot time.
Q: Can you change the drive to be used?
A: Yes. By creating a new Virtual Drive and by using the “Reset” button.
Q: Can you have multiple virtual drives?
A: Yes. You can create as many as you want.
Q: What are aliases?
A: When you specify the alias of a drive, you create an alias in which the original drive letter has been replaced by the alias.
Q: How to add a drive to an alias?
A: You can either use the “Add” button, or you can drag a folder to the side of the interface, and the “Edit” button at the bottom.
Q: How to remove a drive from an alias?
A: You can either use the “Remove” button, or you can drag a folder to the side of the interface, and the “Edit” button at the bottom.
Two major new features added in version 1.6.0:
The possibility of removing the contents of the drives without removing the virtual drives.
The possibility of adding drives and folders to your drives. This allows you to replace the X: with C:, D:, E:, and so on.
Version 1.5.0 added the possibility of mounting drives at boot time.
Version 1.4.0 added the possibility of adding drives to your aliases, and in doing so allowed you to change the letter X: to whatever letter you wanted (for example, you could have E: if you want to work with some E: source). eea19f52d2

This is a very nice program and it will make cover sheets which can be used in my opinion as an alternative to using an old fashioned typewriter for creating letters, documents, invoices and other important papers.
You can use a printer or choose to print out with fax in several other ways.
The available templates are varied and you can choose from several others by going to the templates option, however I didn’t see a way to remove a template and add a different one to the list.
As far as customization is concerned, you can only choose from a handful of preset templates that are pre-defined and offered by default with a little bit of tweaking.
I have tried to create a cover sheet using a standard cover sheet template. I did not see a way to add fields as far as customization is concerned.
What I would have liked to see included in this program would have been a feature for creating mail merge style letter, invoices, or any other kind of mailing. There is no way to do this in the available templates and you have to create them yourself.
One last thing I wanted to mention was that this software had a problem when I was trying to connect to my printer using Windows XP Home edition and Windows Vista ultimate. There was a warning message saying “the system is not connected to the network” everytime I tried to print out the coversheets. I’m not sure what this problem is about but it made it impossible for me to use this application.
I have to give this program a slight plus point for the ability to create cover sheets.
The only downside is that I had problems connecting to a printer which I tried to use to print out the cover sheets.
