NuPacket is an ARES tool used by amateur radio operators. It provides a basic terminal Node Controller (TNC) interface application for Windows users to connect to up to thirty-two packet stations and perform communication functions, including sending and receiving text documents.
NuPacket is the main application of the ARESClient software package. It offers the same interface and functions as the ARESClient application, but is specifically designed for controlling packet stations and conducting ARES operations.
Supported Windows versions
NuPacket is a 32-bit application. Windows 95/98/2000/XP/2003/Vista.
Unzip NuPacket in a folder of your choice (default is C:\NuPacket) and start the program. If you don’t like the default station, open the NuPacket folder in the Start menu, and change the station.

Additional Macro (Sequence):
– Macro (Sequence) allows you to execute more than one macro in a sequence, so you can press Ctrl+Alt+F9 and click Cancel to terminate multiple macro executions in a single operation. Macros are typically used to automate repetitive tasks, and you can use Macro (Sequence) to jump between macro steps by pressing Enter to continue from the previous step. For example, press F9 to open the Macro (Sequence) dialog, click (Toggle) and select the “Exit” command to exit the dialog without executing the macro, and then press F9 again to continue.
– Macro (Sequence) is also supported in Web browsers. You can also press Ctrl+Alt+F9 to open the Macro (Sequence) dialog in the browser, select the macro that you want to run and press Enter to execute the macro.
NOTE: This feature is not available in browsers that do not support shortcut keys.
