Check whether an object is a socket or a netstream

Is there a way to check whether an object is a socket or a netstream in PHP?
I’m building a logging system and writing to a file a new connection every time a message is sent/received. I already check if the object is a socket, but do not know if I can do the same for netstream.

There is no way to tell if an object is of a certain type directly. To distinguish between a socket and a stream you could use the magic method __toString() as the following:
$stream = new \GuzzleHttp\Psr7\Stream(fopen(‘php://memory’, ‘w’));
$message = $stream->write(‘hello’);

if ($stream instanceof \GuzzleHttp\Psr7\Stream) {
echo “it’s a stream”;
} else {
echo “it’s a socket”;

Dietary regulation of glucose, urea, and protein metabolism in the pregnant guinea pig.
The present study was performed to determine whether glucose and urea metabolism are differentially regulated in pregnancy compared with the nonpregnant state. For these purposes, the rate of whole body glucose turnover was measured using [3-14C]glucose, and the fractional rate of urea synthesis was measured using [14C]urea. Glucose turnover and urea synthesis were measured in guinea pigs maintained on a 30% glucose diet. In the control guinea pigs, dietary glucose levels were increased 2-fold by addition of amino acids to the diet, without affecting the caloric intake. Whole body glucose turnover and urea synthesis were increased approximately 3-fold in the pregnant state. Pregnancy was associated with a greater rate of urea synthesis than glucose turnover, however, indicating a decrease in the rate of glucose use for urea synthesis. In addition, pregnant animals exhibited a significant increase in hepatic ureagenesis, which supports a role for this enzyme in pregnancy. In pregnant guinea pigs maintained on
